There has been a lot of buzz about Meghna Gulzar's upcoming film Chhapaak, starring Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey, and the trailer of the film released just two days ago. Ever since Deepika's first look from the film was released, there had been a lot of curiosity about the film. Chhapaak is based on the story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, and the horrific acid attack on her that shook the nation. Deepika Padukone plays the role of Malti, and the trailer struck the right chord with the audience, leaving them teary eyed. 

Laxmi Agarwal. who turned that horrific chapter of her life into this brave inspiring story of triumph,has opened up about what she really thinks about the film and the change it will bring about in the society. She took to her Instagram to share a video of herself in which she said that with so many followers and friends excitedly waiting for the trailer, she felt it was necessary that she puts forth her opinions and what she thinks about Chhapaak. She said that she really believes a huge change can be brought about through this film, and people will be aware and take notice of acid attack violence in the country. She further added that she is happy that Meghna Gulzar has directed it and Deepika is playing the role of the acid attack survivor.
